Librarians REALLY know how to collaborate!

It's so wonderful to see libraries being recognized for their emerging role as a catalyst for Transforming Communities, helping to bridge and heal divisions within communities. In a recent blog post, the National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation (NCDD) describes a new programs to train librarians in numerous Dialogue and Deliberation techniques which they can apply to their communities. The NCDD has been bowled over by the response and receptiveness of the Library Community. They seem to be discovering what we've learned as well: Librarians are THE BEST!
As they reiterate at the end of the post, the NCDD is constantly looking out for new platforms for collaboration. Now that's a mission we can REALLY endorse!

"Finding new avenues for collaboration, whether with libraries, journalists, or other organizations and sectors is essential to expanding and sustaining the work of bringing people together across traditional lines to make decisions on the issues that affect them."

Let's ALL StickTogether... and Collaborate!
