River Run Camp for kids ages 3 – 9 in Warren Maine, promises its campers plenty of opportunity for fun, recreation and relaxation in the best spirit of an ‘old time’ summer camp experience. Set on a hill over the St George River waterfront, the big barn is the indoor space where the community gathers, and creativity abounds.
That’s where you’ll always find a StickTogether poster in progress for those “who find themselves with a few minutes of down time. We post them as a mystery and as the picture unfolds with color, the children’s and staff’s excitement is infectious! Such a fun & engaging activity!”
“The posters have been a staple activity in our summer program for 5 years. Last summer a motivated camper used our stash of extra stickers (collected throughout the summer) to create her own design — a peace symbol! “reports Jane Funk, the Camp Director. Jane also shared that, each summer, all the campers sign the poster to celebrate the special community that created it.
And the team at Camp River Run get a ‘StickTogether Innovation’ prize for the ingenious solution they came up with for storing stickers – a plastic shoe holder!
We want to thank the amazing team at River Run Camp for sharing their StickTogether Story.
Let’s ALL StickTogether at Camp this year!
