Like most Seniors, residents at Guardian Angels Riverview Landing in Elk River MN, have remained isolated in their own quarters due to COVID.
Two residents have found a way to stay engaged and share some joy with the entire Guardian Angels Riverview community at the same time
Sherwin and Lee Cohrs have embraced StickTogether Sticker Mosaic Puzzle Poster Kits. Their daughter Jana introduced them to StickTogether after participating in one at the local library. After finishing one StickTogether image Sherwin was hooked, and Lee has cheered him on as each image revealed in the process. As the final image is kept a secret, they take turns guessing "What will the image be?"
Jana said, "When the world shut down I was kept from my parents in their assisted living facility. I started looking for things for them to do. I started ordering StickTogether posters for my Dad to work on. It has really given him a sense of purpose during these difficult times. He has completed 13 posters all on his own.”
Fun fact – to date Sherwin has place over 50,000 stickers

She has taken pictures of his work and posted them on Facebook. Once the posters are completed they are displayed throughout the facility for all to enjoy. Stacy says “StickTogether gives Sherwin joy and purpose. Every day he looks forward to making progress on another image. The nurses and kitchen staff who are there to help Lee have also joined from time to time and also love guessing what the image will be.”
